Powering Progress: Procurement and Construction of PV facilities

With more than 1 GWp installed solar PV capacity in Europe, Evklips Energy is considered as preferred partner to project owners across EU.

Our team works for more than 12 years in green power construction sector with wide range of clients. We are used to deliver turn-key solar installations, with minimal disruption to main contractors.

By offering comprehensive solutions we help the EPC company to unlock a range of benefits.

Feasibility study

The solar feasibility study is the first essential part of each investment project. The report assesses the viability and potential benefits of implementing a solar energy system in a specific location, but also identifies the roadblocks in the beginning of the planning phase. The potential site has numerous implications on the system, solar project viability, system performance, maintenance costs, and installation costs. For ground-mounted solar systems, the topography will indicate if site work needs to be done and could impact the tilt angle of the PV panels.

Procurement

Our procurement specialists source high-quality solar inverters, cables, racking systems, wiring other components from reputable and sustainable suppliers. We ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials to the project site.
We are prepared the necessary labor power, with the required certification.
Our experience and long term partnerships with major equipment producers, helps us to deliver the parts on time. We know that early delivery may result in storage costs and late delivery may cause costly delays in construction.

Earthworks and platform design

For some PV facilities, the site must be levelled to obtain the permitted slopes for the installation of solar panels. This process can use a huge amount of resources and, therefore, generate huge costs. We are equipped to assess and complete vertical rock drilling across your site so pile driving can successfully go ahead.
Evklips Energy is executing all the necessary earthworks with its own excavation machinery and prepared working force.
The EPC keeps in touch with one company, which saving time and is absolutely critical in driving down budget costs.

The phases of the cut-and-fill process and the subsequent design of platforms is as follows:

• Carrying out a detailed topographic survey of the zone in question
• Making topographic sections with the implemented earthworks
• Comparing different alternatives and choosing the best alternative in terms of the volume of material displaced

Ramming services

Evklips Energy is an experiences provider of solar park construction services, fal=miliar with different techniques, material and challenges associated with pile driving.
The solar farm foundation process begins with site clearing and preparation—which involves removing any vegetation, debris, or obstructions that could interfere with the work.
After the site is cleared, the locations where the piles will be installed are carefully marked based on the project’s layout plan.
Next, the positioning of pile driving equipment is done accurately over the marked spots to ensure that each pile is driven at the correct location—maintaining the structural integrity of the entire solar farm.
Throughout this process, close monitoring is conducted to ensure that the piles are installed vertically and at the correct angle. Finally, the verification of depth and alignment takes place after driving each pile—using precision measuring tools to confirm that the piles meet the project’s engineering specifications and are prepared to support the solar panel structures.

Mechanical installation

Mechanical installation involves physically assembling solar panels, mounting structures, carrier systems and other components into place. A carefully planned assembly process at this stage ensures the long-term performance and safety of the systems.

Our mechanical assembly services include:
• Installation of Mounting Structures: We install mounting structures designed for the safe positioning of solar panels by our professional teams.
• Mounting of Panels: We ensure that you get maximum efficiency from sunlight by mounting solar panels at the angles and heights required by the design.
• Cable Management: Properly managing and securely connecting electrical cables increases the longevity of the system.
• System Inspection: We ensure that the installation is done correctly and safely with post-installation system inspections.

Electrical installation

Electrical installation refers to installing electrical systems that convert the energy produced by solar panels into usable energy. This stage is of great importance in creating a safe and solid electrical infrastructure.

Our electrical installation services include: :
• Connection and Configuration: The connection of panels to inverters and system configuration ensures efficient energy conversion.
• Electrical Panel Installation: Electrical panel installation and regulation of power distribution controls the flow of electricity within the system.
• Cable Connections: Safe and insulated cable connections ensure strong and reliable operation of the system.
• Testing and Validation: After electrical installation, we perform system tests and ensure that all components are working correctly.

Electrical parts testing

Our qualified PV technicians and electrical engineers perform system tests on various stages of completion. nd electrical engineers perform system tests on various stages of completion. When the system is in process of installation - we make tests of individual modules. When the project is ready and the system is installed, we do commissioning tests involving the work and efficiency of the whole system. Those include:

Visual inspection - ensure there are no problems with the PV system, such as, damage to the modules, cable connectors, wiring or other PV components e.g. invertors.
System checks and measurement & testing of the DC side of a PV system - resistance testing; polarity testing;
System performance testing - is required to ensure the PV system is operating according to the system design.

Commissioning

After completing the project, we supervise system start-up and engage to commission and optimize the PV system.
The completion of each stage of the project is generally evidenced by certifications of:
• mechanical completion - marks that the facility is mechanically and electrically complete and capable of safe operation
• substantial completion - the facility has achieved mechanical completion and then it has been tested, and fully interconnected
• final completion/final acceptance- after the contractor completes all items on the snag list
• placed in service (or commercial operation) - the facility has obtained the required licenses and permits; the project owner has passed the control of the facility to the investor; all critical test have been completed; the facility is synchronized with the power grid for electricity generating and income.
Each such certification is considered an must have requirement that the project has to satisfy in order to progress to the next stage.

Maintenance

The proper management and after-sales-service of solar power plants is one of the most essential variables influencing the longevity and profitability of your power plant. Entrust these issues to our team and enjoy the consistent generation of your power plant for many years after its installation.
We provide the following solar power plant operation and maintenance services:

• Scheduled technical service
• Unscheduled technical service
• Other operation and maintenance services

Competitive advantages:

  • Efficiency and expertise – dealing with a specialized subcontractor does not require to manage multiple vendors
  • Cost optimization: we can secure competitive pricing on equipment and construction services
  • Risk mitigation: Having a reliable partner minimizes the risk of project delay, budget overrun and performance issues. Being a reputable installer we are offering warranties and guarantees, ensuring the project life cycle.
